Like many in the community,  Kawasaki Disease was an unknown for Brent. That was until 2016 when he partnered into a KD family and his education and appreciation began. Hearing the stories of parents and children touched by this disease, Brent was inspired to contribute. The dedication and tireless work of the committee in raising awareness and supporting other families moved him to want to be involved. Travelling to the symposium in Japan, Brent had the opportunity to meet families from around the world and share their stories of fear and joy.

With a professional background in Public Service and Human Relations, Brent has served as a treasurer with other not for profit community groups and looks forward to raising awareness and growing our KD community.
